que el de la mula torda mamita mia es mi cuñao! Efestivamente en este caso el negro no es Amonasro sino su cuñado Monostatos, según podeis confirmar en el diccionario operario.

Aparentemente es una versión filmada de la ópera, producida por la Peter Moores Foundation, con la dirección musical de James Conlon y se empieza a rodar el próximo año

After working his box-office magic with William Shakespeare, Sir Kenneth Branagh is turning his attention to opera. The actor and director, who brought the Bard to the masses with his stirring Henry V and the star-filled Much Ado About Nothing, is to direct and possibly star in a big-screen version of Mozart's The Magic Flute, to be made in English.

Rehearsals and casting are due to start early next year after Branagh signed up to the project, which is being bankrolled by the arts philanthropist Sir Peter Moores. "It seems to me that The Magic Flute is the ideal opera to film in English which will appeal to a broad audience outside the opera house," Sir Peter said.

Me parece una idea fantástica el pasar a película cualquier Opera.

Yo, que soy bastante detractora de las grabaciones de Operas en DVD por motivos diversos que ya he expuesto en el foro, sería en cambio feliz viendo una buena producción en cine de cualquier opera.

Además los "no aficionados" seguro que tienen ahí, una oportunidad más fácil para apreciarla.
